In addition to relaxing promenades in the nature and excursions in the park’s paths, you can practise many other different activities, especially outdoor.
A few steps from San Martino you can find the Golf Club Casentino, a wonderful green whith 11 holes, where all golf lovers will play enjoying a magical view on Poppi Castle and the whole valley.
Besides cyclists will find two fabulous cycleways inaugurated at the end of 2015 at the bottom of the valley, along the green way of rivers Arno, Teggina and Archiano.
The Arno cycleway, particularly, will take part of a big project that will create a singular way along the Arno river: from Casentino, where it grows, to Marina di Pisa, where it flows into the sea.
About 270 km of path, which will become 375 km whith little local paths in the 48 municipalities, the Arno cycleway will be the largest street bike in Tuscany.
For those who want to ride a horse, there are many riding schools near here: the main ones are the Bibbienese Equestrian Center, in Bibbiena , and the Equestrian Club S. Donato, in Pratovecchio.
Finally, all shopping-addicted will find, near Arezzo, in an atmosphere of an ancient Tuscan village, the large Valdichiana Outlet Village, with a lot of trademarks of all budgets, and in Reggello the luxurious The Mall, with affordable brands of excellence.
